Senator Herb Kohl Visits Mandli Offices
6/1/11

Mandli Communications was honored to have to high level Wisconsin politicians stop by the office this summer. After taking runner up of the Small Business of the Year Award, both Senator Kohl and Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch took notice in the many accomplishments Mandli has had over the past 27 years of business.

On June 1, 2011 Senator Herb Kohl visited the Mandli campus to talk with employees and give a speech emphasizing the importance of small businesses in the economy as well as how SBA loans can help small business grow and develop new commerce. Ray Mandli, President of Mandli Communications, was excited to show Senator Kohl a new project that Mandli has been working on, Retroview, which will help identify signs that do not meet the federal retroreflectivity requirements. This helps state, county, and municipal organizations in creating up-to-date sign inventories and effective replacement plans.

Following Sen. Kohl's visit, on August 16th, 2011, Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch stopped by for a tour and sit down with Ray Mandli to discuss issues small businesses are facing, as well as issues affecting State Departments of Transportation. Afterwards, the Lieutenant Governor took a tour of both the Mandli and Roadview campuses. After her visit to Mandli and Roadview, Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch was able to take the concerns she discussed with Ray to the Small Business Roundtable discussion.
