Mandli's rail systems offer digital imaging at 1300 x 1030 resolution taken from a customized vehicle installed on hi-rail, or from a system installed on a rail car.

The camera is attached to an adjustable mount inside the vehicle for easy access and protection from outside elements. The camera is positioned with a right-of-way view that includes the lane of travel, street signs, guide signs, mile markers, pavement markings, and overhead signs. The system offers the option of a second camera angled to the right approximately 45 degrees. The dual camera extended field of view includes guide signs, roadside features, billboards, vegetation, and terrain. Each image is approximately 170KB compressed (4MB uncompressed). At 100 frames per mile, this becomes approximately 17 MB per mile.
