Crossroads Manager


Summary of the Position

The Crossroads Manager strategically plans logistics, manages resources, and leads staff for efficient data collection and high-quality data preparation. Daily tasks include determining resource needs, recruiting and hiring qualified applicants, communicating status and statistics of projects to upper management, and elevating issues when additional resources are required. The Crossroads Manager must plan for future projects, evolve with department growth and continually improve processes and procedures to keep the team moving towards refinement and efficiency.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Travel coordination and booking for team members
  • Identifying staffing needs for the department
  • Maintain employee work schedules
  • Recruit, interview, hire, coach, assess, and fire employees
  • Coordination of resources to meet contract deadlines
  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate project year cycle.
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation, and collection
  • Prepare staff for job transition and succession
  • Keep staff motivated and moral high


Management / Leadership for Crossroads Team

  • Manage the day to day activities of the Crossroads department
    • Oversee all activities and the staff performing them
    • Plan all resource needs both for staff and collection vehicles
    • Communicate directly with the Director of Crossroads for planning purposes, daily status of projects, and to escalate issues that arise.
  • Provide oversight and direction
  • Delegate responsibilities to employees
  • Work directly with other members of management to coordinate resources, configure cross-department impact of schedule changes, and reach company goals
  • Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and maintaining open communication
  • Develop staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, effective performance reviews, and establishing training and development plans
  • Maintain performance documentation for use in reviews and for use when determining advancement
  • Understand and utilize operational plans and reports
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements departmental plans, objectives, and strategies
  • Commits to continuous improvement
  • Participates as a member of the company management team
  • Maintains an active awareness of Digilog business environments, corporate culture and structure to support key decision making
  • Responsible for continued quality and service of team


Team Operations

  • Manages the resolution of work problems, monitors and adjusts workloads within the team

and with other team managers to achieve desired performance standards

  • Anticipates and responds to fluctuating workloads required to support Sales and Marketing efforts as well as Technology development
  • Works with management within and outside the department as necessary for efficient and effective processing systems and procedures
  • Coordinates and/or performs work product audits to achieve desired performance
  • Analyzes training needs and develops cross-training and development plans for the team based on processing needs and employee skills


Achieve Department Results

  • Collaborates with quality management department and other department managers to develop effective performance standards, processes, and practices for data handling
  • Coordinates and/or conducts audit activities including individual performance audits to ensure goals and objectives for efficiency and quality are met
  • Implements action plans to address issues identified in the Crossroads team
  • Monitors and provides ongoing reports to support department metrics via BI tool
  • Responsible for ensuring that the team consistently meets or exceeds performance standards stated in divisional business goals

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory position
  • Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members
  • 5 or more years of experience with logistics management
  • Excellent organizational management skills
  • Knowledge in managing human resources preferred
  • Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of Crossroads
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skills



  • Bachelor’s Degree Required


Certificates and Licenses

Valid Driver’s License required for travel to job sites, client and vendor locations within the

United States.




Required travel: This position requires up to 10% travel within the United States of America.
